You're right on all fronts. I think this one does have a solid internal engine, at the moment, and barring interaction with the big island in the future, early models have this one getting landlocked into the Caribbean and GOMEX later on in the forecast.

We're still 1000 miles from any land, 2000 miles from any US land mass, and it doesn't even have a name yet.

Waiting and seeing.
