Winds are starting to really pick up here in Sumter and the storm still hasn't reached us yet..the center of the storm is supposed to go right over us before it turns to the north. already have over 1000 customers without power according to the duke energy website within my county. I still have power, but we are ready with our generator.

Duke energy said it could take up to weeks before power is restored. I have my rain gauge ready to see how much rain we get. they are expecting anywhere between 7-10 inches of rain for us...but idk now.
