Thought this thing would die a slow death. It's getting a friggin' eye right now even with shear from a low. It's less than two days from having a high pressure over it that usually leads to strengthening. It's growing a bit in size. This is slowly becoming a story. Dorian could be a major cane impacting the SE somewhere.
Nobody knows where it will go, though. ICON model just showed it going through South Florida. Euro has it going through Central Florida. GFS has it possibly missing the US altogether. I do think the HP to the north will put it very, very close to Florida. It's all about whether something can push that high out of the way and allow it to turn more WNW, NW and even N or NNE. |
