On the 18Z GFS, 300 map at 120hrs there is the oddest ridge I've ever seen off the western CONUS. When I went to look at it again I really noticed what I find to be an EPIC ULL. Now. Granted, I've only been reading models for about 3 years now so I'm relatively new at this, but nonetheless, I can help but find the 120hr map to be crazy. That ULL just doesn't make sense to me!?

So I'm wondering, is it just me and I'm not familiar with seeing these types of patterns or is really odd for all of you as well? I've never seen anything like this. I'm genuinely interested to know if it's just me or if you guys see it as well?
