I don't know what gives, here too. They are just starting to talk about it here today.

I know they are very leary on giving snow amounts until about 1 day before the event.

I guess they don't want to panic people.

It seems they go more by the Meso models (SREF, NAM, etc) which only run out to 84/87 hr and not so much the globals (CMC, GFS, EURO) which run 144hrs and more.

SPC is showing 10% severe weather which is typical for them this far out.
