I keep wondering if this same pattern persists, are we going to see the worst of the storms the next couple months? With differential heating occuring again as the winter phase moves into the spring phase, are we going to see even nastier jet streaks?

This storm is so far out at this point I can't think one way or another. This SAME thing happened last week, granted the UL setup wasn't so ridiculously favorable like this one is, nontheless if this plays out, I agree with JAC it could be historic.

Then again, 18Z tomorrow could show nothing forming at all.
