A Where did the energy come from...what direction along the fault lines that pushed, created this fault to snap and slide under and up...
If the energy of the quake came from the east somewhere... ese or e or se towards Japan
Would not at some point energy try to go back in the other direction as everything tries to find some sort of "normal" again and re-correct sort of the balance of power in the plates that are always sliding about a bit.
Just like the tsunami energy went across the Pacific back towards Californian and South America...
Could the energy have come from the same direction as the plates tried to snap, crackle and pop their way back to normal say...after the Chile 8.8 quake.
On a very, very simplistic level.
B Now What?
You have a 8.8 in Chile in the not too distant past
You have a 6.3 in New Zealand that now looks like a Cat 2 Hurricane in comparison
You have 8.8 in Japan....
If you follow the plates, would it not make sense that the NE part of the "Ring of Fire" would need some "adjustment" ???
And, with the quakes in California and the Gulf of California.. in the last day, would that simplistically be the earth and the plates in the Pacific trying to adjust ...s i m p l i s t i c a l l y
with the solar energy slamming the planet possibly be the mrs o leary's cow's start?
MAP 4.5 2011/03/12 21:58:40 25.308 -109.837 10.2 GULF OF CALIFORNIA MAP 4.3 2011/03/12 20:16:59 25.423 -109.730 10.0 GULF OF CALIFORNIA MAP 4.7 2011/03/12 17:54:19 25.456 -109.690 22.2 GULF OF CALIFORNIA MAP 5.1 2011/03/12 17:13:02 25.466 -109.727 10.0 GULF OF CALIFORNIA MAP 5.3 2011/03/12 14:11:05 25.396 -109.652 12.1 GULF OF CALIFORNIA MAP 4.4 2011/03/12 12:03:43 25.260 -109.964 10.1 GULF OF CALIFORNIA
C How could the nonstop quakes in Arkansas earlier in the weak have any effect on California, yes I know they are not supposed to be related... just some Injun curse ;)
If we want to blame Tecumseh we can worry that Uranus just went into Aries but am not going there here
More worried that this IS a meltdown going on
More worried on which part of the plates will go next
Lastly, it's easy to say this is too simplistic but when I was a little girl I cut up the map of the world, and showed my mother how it all fits together like a puzzle and it made sense logically that there had to be a reason.. I think she thought I was nuts. I showed my teacher... she smiled and told me to go sit down.
Years later when I was much, much older and not playing with paper dolls and cutting up the family Atlas... I read about Pangea and smile.
I must have been five...
So on a simplistic level, please respond.
I hope this cleared things up
I was just comparing under ground land waves with the way water waves travel.
Thanks
