That's what it looked like. I know it would not have been a pinhole eye in the sense that this is not a cat 4 or 5 monster. But not every hurricane eye starts out huge do they? It had the appearance on IR of a very small circular spot with no convection near the center of circulation last night just before 11:00 ET. It did disappear in the next satellite shot, but I was commenting at the time it appeared to have an eye like feature that resembled a pinhole. |
