You're right.  Up to now, Isaac has been a hot mess of discombobulated swirling centers around a mean rotation.  He was his own worst enemy.

The only difference I see now is that he is stacked and if he can start drawing from the latent heat content of the ocean below him and his tight spiral of a center, this could be nasty.

The last hour or so, Isaac appears to have retaken a WNW movement, apparently in response to the high he is now pressing against above him.

Has anyone noticed the very small high attempting to form over the western and central GOMEX?  This would block Isaac's westward progression.  Wonder if it will last and wonder if models will push him back east.
