The Google Earth part of it is pretty much done. (Well I'm trying to make a radar loop right now in Google Earth.) The radar data will not display in the Google Earth plugin because by default I have the radar icons turned off in the Google Earth file. (not worth working on alternatives as the Google Earth plugin, not the desktop program, ends in December) Hopefully I will have the recon data in Google Maps done by then.

I haven't done the Google Maps display for recon yet, however all the files needed are now created. The first link is an archive of imagery that will eventually contain links to the mapping where the radar displays in Google Maps. For now there is only the link to download the file in Google Earth.

Inside the Google Earth program though you can either choose an icon to then download the data at that position or you can also now simply display the overlay by simply clicking the radio button on a time in the sidebar of Google Earth. Right now I am trying to learn how the time span feature works so a loop can be played.

Saved screenshot of the Air Force and NOAA missions.

You can see the radar icons would take over the display if left on there.
