Outstanding post, Chris, one of your best ever, and I agree 100%. Also, what karen said, in spades! Islanders live where we live, and those who, when the sun shines, envy us and wish they could do the same, are very often the first to criticize us for dwelling where we do when storms hit. Human nature at its worst. |
