I understand your frustration, Mr Evans.  I write in a way from my model of how things work, and much of that is poorly expressed in everyday langauge.  But in my own defense many of the people who have tried to explain teleconnections have met with similar frustration.

What I try to do is keep my posts in a place where if you feel the way you do you can simply ignore the thread.  I also don't post everyday.  I also have been kicked off similar bbs like storm2k even as I posted in a non obtrusive way, so I realize that the frustration is real.  But at the same time the studies are there supporting what I am saying.  I also have been careful about preditions.  For instance this year in my long range forecast I was very clear about a lack of confidence relative to the low sunspot numbers and the melting Arctic.

There is a problem of scales, small and large, in the complexity of this discussion, and that adds to the frustration I suspect people feel reading what I am writing.  Also I am talking about visual images in writing, and at the same time much of electrical phenomenon is invisible to the eye.  The Washington lightning network, spaceweather.com and other web sites are helping here, but for instance when I talk about the ITCZ as being warm and conductive, it's not exactly like a wire.  At the same time as the atmosphere thins moving north and south, couplings take place over smaller distances, and it's hard to then explain what a capacitive coupling is and do it in the context of relative conductivies that are not exactly described like you would a 'wire' and a simple electrical circuit.

Anyway, Mr. Evans, you are as good a sport as Brock Lesner.  I would rather you put down an idea I express than me, but if you ignore me, that's fine too.
