Swimming!  Healthy body, healthy mind.  I was worried about your tooth infection.

My right knee doesn't allow much but this morning during my daughter's swim practice I did walk and then jog up a big hill.  For some reason I can jog up, but not in a flat or downhill area without the arthritis kicking my butt and then I have to pay a price.  And BTW swimming my daughter does, as you know from prevoius posts.  Ten years of swimming with three step kids and my biological daughter and never an 'A' time.  Then last year my daughter started getting 'A' times and for the past couple of months has 'AAA' times.  At 8 years old she swam a 50 meter fly in 43 seconds, which was top 40 in the US.

Swimming has helped her get into great shape.  I wasn't a swimmer when I was young--I played basketball.  But with my knee like it is I need to probably swim more too.  This spring I was swimming and my daughter beat me in a race--the first time that has happened.  Either I am getting old or she has become really really fast (yeah I am old).

Sounds like with the rain pattern you have you could swim by jumping out of your second floor apartment.

The pattern now does not bring rain to Texas.  I have a relative in Houstan now (an aunt), which is funny because I gave so much crap to Texans for GWB. She complained about the drought when I spoke to her last week.  She complained to my mother that she couldn't even grow tomatoes in those upside down pots given how much sun there was.  And me I was thinking about El Cajan, a dam in Mexico, and how the sub tropical jet has changed . . .
