Re: Xray activity died-so has TD2

So, it did seem like the subsidence zone, from what I saw on WV, did pick up in intensity.

This I believe is due to a strengthening of the Atlantic Walker cell.

The subsidence zone is the downdraft area of the Atlantic Walker Cell.

The cell is circulating dry air in the tropopause from the EPAC into the East-Atlantic.

Here it makes sense to me that X-ray activity could influence that air in the tropopause.

So, what I would like to know is the mechanism and ultimate effect of X-ray's on the air circulating in the Walker Cell.

Any comments or insights would be appreciated.

Thanks.
