I found reference to the study in my notes but not the story itself. It was published about 2000 and went to about 1965 and involved 65,000 radio recordings. It found a 5 mile decrease in the night time ionosphere. To me it would be very interesting to expand this study to location and focuse on the tropics and see if you could match seasonal variation with storm activity. It doesn't sound like much but it is the kind of study that might make a scientist really rich with funding. I myself am a lowly bottom feeding lawyer who doesn't need research money and would not even be qualified with the piled deeper and higher to make such a request, but at least I know the pile of deeper and higher to know what I am requesting. But just think, Wolfman Jack's broadcast from Mexico that some Smoe saved on his reel to reel in LA could have some serious climate change secrets on it that get to the EPAC season . . . |
