Oh they better be. I would LOVE to see the RECON vortex message for this monster.
Speaking of RECON, I wish they would have flown a RECON back in 2006 on Cyclone Monica north of Australia. Some unofficial intensity guidance reports had her around 858mb which would have destroyed Tip and then some. Instead, they have her pinned at 905mb. She peaked at 8.0 on ADT.
I'll always believe she was as strong as, or even stronger than Tip.
