Guys, everyone that has commented on this thread understands quite well what the NHC means. 0% yellow shades, they clearly explain on every update what chances of becoming a tropical cyclone in 48hrs 92L has.
Even with the increased convection last night they were clear on chances of formation (UPPER LEVEL WINDS ARE UNFAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT). Very clear. In my opinion, the time when some confusion occured was when they gave this a 60% chance a few days ago. But, it was clear that high shear was ahead. Maybe it was briefly a TD, when the atmosphere was more favorable. |
