Jac--Should have read your above post before posting my header about the possible flattening of the TUTT in the Carribean and blooming High Pressure in the East Carribean. I think that as the system generally tracks WNW to NW toward the Fl Straits and then into the Gulf of Mexico, we might look for gradually improving conditions with the weakened TUTT and expanding Upper Level High. It might not be ideal, but shear might lessen considerably as this system heads toward the Gulf of Mexico. |
