this is going to sound really bad but

i didn't remember it hit La... coverage locally was on when the marines would arrive
seems they were waiting for miami dade county to send them a fax...

and the helicopter had just gone up and sent back pictures
and i was on miami beach which was "closed" and the police would sound sirens every night
to say Miami Beach was closed... police barricade on causeway
and we didn't have power for over a week..

we heard very little about Andrew except that he had moved on and barely burped
after trespassing across south florida

years later i watched footage a friend sent me
