I wonder how the NHC will handle watches and warnings?

Agree, they are in a tough spot...especially with a holiday weekend.
As we all know, certain types of watches/warnings trigger very specific ($$) emergency actions...and loss of tourists.
'Have to feel sorry for them (NHC) on this one...will be interesting to see the info coming out of there in next few days. 'Know the Navy was on Storm Condition Five (storm wthin 96 hrs) YESTERDAY at around noon in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Haven't heard yet whether the Navy is flying out jets yet.
