It's been well known that this one was heading for a wall of shear that won't be around when Laura gets to the northern or NW Gulf coast. A bit of a question of when shear would take it's toll on Marco. Given it's small size, it was likely to happen rather fast when it finally did. The LLC may still track off further west.
Shear isn't supposed to be around when Laura makes its final landfall and people are definitely going to want to listen to the NHC and local NWS forecast offices as it progresses toward that final landfall. |
