Thanks, Chris, I understood all that last night. What I disagreed with was people saying that "MARCO" (NOT the decoupled convection) was heading for the Panhandle.

Currently experiencing very heavy rains, which are not much of a threat on the barrier island. Special marine warnings are up, but winds are currently only 13 mph out of the northeast.
