New National Weather Service Radar is here

I HATE IT. It's EXTREMELY slow loading, ponderous, and jerky, presuming you can figure out how you want to view your area in the first place, and perhaps desperately bookmark it. Then if you click on the image at all, make any little change in the view options, or even just zoom in or out, it immediately knocks you out of your bookmark. (That's supposed to be a benefit - that you can re-bookmark for any little change you make -- but instead it's EXTREMELY ANNOYING).
Gonna have to look back at the previous "coming soon" thread and look at other radars Chris recommended. This one just purely sucks, big time.
I will be in mourning for the defunct Flash version for some time to come.
Here's where you get started, and good luck:

There are FAQS and instructions available here and I'll freely admit I haven't perused it all -- just the sheer volume tells you it's WAY more complex than it needs to be. And what I have looked at is full of geeky phrases that maybe Chris, Jim and a few others will understand, but not the average user.
Repeat: Simply SUCKS. Am I alone?
