Jim, we don't smell anything here in Pensacola Beach, and, like Cypress, I, too, had read that burning would not begin until Wednesday at the earliest.
As far as how long a distance the smell might travel, all I can say is that a few years back when all those drought-induced brush fires were burning in the central Florida peninsula, we had some smoke in the air way over here in the far western Panhandle, and it lasted for several weeks. |
