I don't think it's a matter of tempered anything round here...
It's been a crazy year, filled with news and news that affects the earth science crowd...
between earthquakes, volcanoes, ash flows, ice bombs and flooding people are dizzy from trying to keep up with everything out there
add into it the tragedy in the Gulf, aside from politics... people died, and oozing oil could kill lots of wild life aside from messing up the economics of the Gulf's tourist season.. aside from any political viewpoint.. it's a sad story and one where many people died and those deaths have been sort of lost in the ecological fall out
anyway... think people are on overload right now news wise and weather wise and as the first set of waves that look viable are out there... things will heat up
this site is a great place for people talk to talk about canes... we are very lucky to have it
