Re: my thoughts

Hi BL:

If you don't mind I would like to respectfully comment on your preception of this board.

I don't think posters here are of the mindset that all they are interested in is seeing someone hurt my a natural disaster; much liking watching a car race and waiting for a crash.

In fact, it is my intention to alert people before a natural disaster strikes as far ahead in time so they can make preperations and take actions with a realistic and comfortable margin.

Hopefully, I can use proven scientific methods to forecast and analyze weather and geology to help this effort.

Even a wave in the Atlantic before the season starts has significance.

It indicates that conditions are favorable for powerful early season TCs and people in the Carib, Mexico, and Conus should be aware that this season may be a bad one.

I agree 100% that the spill in the GOM is a catastrophy.

The reason I don't post much on it is that Cypress has been doing an excellent job and TV, Internet and other media can provide all the info.

There is some political commentarry I can add to the underlying reasons this happened, but I will keep my thoughts to myself.

Hope to hear a lot more from you.

JAC
