Hello Everyone...
I wrote the person who is in charge of the National Hurricane Center web site this is the information he supplied me this morning.
From Chris Juckins - TPC/NHC
Tony, you are exactly correct...it is an option to see the graphics with or without the line.
Here is an example:
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_at1.shtml?3day
Look for the "Turn track on/off" just above the graphic. Hope that helps-
