I too prefer the line but with one huge caveat - why the heck can't they make it a curved line?
Connecting a series of straight lines is a terrible way to visualize a storm's forecast track; especially for storms approaching the East Coast.
For the life of me I can't figure why graphics designers can't make a frigging curved line!
