I really like your 2nd and 3rd points. You mention hurricane force winds occuring outside of the cone, and adding to that, how about deadly tidal surges which can often occur outside of the cone here on the gulf coast (last year with Ike is a prime example). Also, your point about the uncertainty differing for each storm is an excellent one. |
