I know this story was written in 2006 but a recent exchange of emails with Jeff Masters regarding global warming gave me notice of this article that I was not aware of. I have asked Dr Gray myself how can he tell when the ATC may slow or speed up with no answer & now I know why. He constantly preaches at the conferences to emergency managers & politicians that AGW is a hoax & it all has to do with the ATC. Meanwhile sea levels continue rising with ice melt despite a brief halt to record warmth. If you look at any temperature chart you will see temporay downward shifts but the overall motion is up up up...
