Update #8--it's dead, Jim

It looks like the main group of thunderstorms from the remnants of TDII (Ana) that was really active with lightning this morning ran straight into the mountains of southern Cuba. Most of what is further west of that is an ULL feature as bobbi pointed out. Most of the showers and thunderstorms now seem to be associated with the ULL and it is cut off, as JAC posted, from any signficant theta ts from the ITCZ. In a word, it really is dead. |
