I have another crazy question. Considering that hurricanes build moisture and heat over the Gulf...would an oil covered area hinder or slow the developement of a storm? Does anyone really know?

This is tragic....and will stop offshore drilling for years. We will continue to be at the mercy of the Middle East.

'Certainly hope they can find out the cause. 'Feel terrible for the families and people lost and hurt.
