| I think you are right Jake also the shear just north is hindering development not allow the system to fan out. I expect this system to pass well south of P.R and possibly affect Haiti more than Dominican republic. The High is forecast to remain strong & may even strengthen a bit sending this further west and the gulf is not out of the question. I do think the models showing a hurricane are over blown at this point so unless this gets upper level support forget hurricane status. |
