I was hoping to post the footage of the car being inundated by the storm surge on Facebook as an example of why you evacuate when the authorities tell you to but I wasn't sure if I would be violating copyright by doing so. I am still shaking my head at the sheer stupidity of driving through a storm surge prone area during a borderline Cat. 5 hurricane.
Chris, you are so bang on about how lucky they were. I didn't even realize that that was a recording of a live stream. I was so stunned at the level of stupidity that was displayed. If I had been watching that stream and someone I was related to was involved in it I would have been literally ready to throw something at the monitor. If they had not been so lucky their families would have watched them die on screen.
Again , stupid, just stupid.
