Wind-vs-surge arguments with insurers were common as to damaged/destroyed Pensacola Beach properties after Hurricane Ivan, and indeed many battles did go on for years, some ending up in court. I really, really feel for those in Mexico Beach who'll be facing that extreme stress on top of everything else they're dealing with. It's truly horrific and even health-threatening for some.
