there has been chatter on our local board about it also

Josh's iCyclone chasing helper on land in TX posts there, as do many other weather pros - here 's his last bit this AM:
Both the euro and GFS are now on the same page. Both have the disturbance that will be coming thru the caribbean waiting till it's in the BoC before trying to organize. Looks like a weak ts around corpus sometime next weekend. Sure there will be further differences but we're closing in on a window to take a potential threat more seriously...
Josh is posting about it on Twitter also https://twitter.com/NWS/status/1160953582864097280
there has also been discussion of old GFS vs new, apparently we don't have fans of the new on our local board, but there was always venting about the old also, so go figure...
keep in mind that it's currently beyond NHC's length of public posts, which is why I miss the ftp site for areas being looked at.
in other news, NWS will have a new radar site in 2020, yay !!! https://twitter.com/NWS/status/1160953582864097280
