4 hours ago.Good evening, Okinawa! And now we're in .... TCCOR 3. Still.

As Julianna pointed out earlier, Prapiroon is still looking a lot like a sugared up six-year-old playing "dizzy izzy" at a birthday party. Lots of energy, but not really makin...g much forward progress.

After Maria didn't show even the slightest interest, our despondent Thai Rain God started drifting to the southwest at an unimpressive four knots - but is expected to turn back to the northeast before (finally) making its final pass by the east coast of Okinawa at about 130 miles on Thursday. By that time it won't be much of an event; peak winds will be in the 55-70 knot range and at 130 miles, they'll feel like a gentle breeze compared to the pounding we've been through so far this season.

And much as I love keeping my Okinawa buddies up to speed ... let's hope tomorrow's the last time we have to say "Prapiroon!"

Although, actually come to think of it, I sort of LIKE saying "Prapiroon!" "Prapiroon, prapiroon, prapiroon, prapi --- aaaack!

Dang. Just pulled a muscle again ....

Stay safe! Stormy
