I'm sorry you had to go through all that hassle. If your rates with the new company go up, at some point you can look to getting back on Citizens. It seems as if your premium goes back above 20% you could. Or maybe they'll always hover it just under that.

I had to pay more this year already because we used to not have contents insurance. The stuff in our house is old and it's not replacement cost. Now we had to get that too, so we already were having to pay more. Thanks to the Florida legislature in all their wisdom, just trying to fix things by breaking everything further.

At least you got off the water by a bit. I need to take that step eventually. It's just not worth living on the coast.
