| Ah Con Beachlover... you are going to leave because some people here have a different opinion than yours? That's life.. yeah the oil spill is tragic & should have never happened.. A man made disaster that's pitiful, embarrassing & who knows what effects a hurricane is going to have on it.. Who ever is responsible for this... &/or at the very least for not having a back up plan to contain or stop the leak all together should get hard time!!!... I'm as mad as you are about this situation.. but why pack it up? Hurricanes on the other hand are natural disasters that we can do nothing about.. sometimes they go out to sea, sometimes they fall apart & sometimes they hit land & cause great destruction.. it's an amazing event & tragic event in itself.. what can we do though? Unlike the oil spill we can't avoid it..maybe some day someone will finally come up with a plan to stop or weaken hurricanes as we often hear about..(probably that will cause some other bad events to unfold as one should 'nt mess with nature but we'll see).. til then hurricanes are gonna happen whether one wants it or not.. & people are going to watch it.. that's why ratings go through the roof for networks when they are covering a hurricane making landfall..The oil spill is there this season.. lets hope those idiots who caused this in the first place can stop it now but unfortunately the hurricanes are still gonna come & sometimes they pass right over where the oil spill is.. hopefully nature will actually help in alleviating a disaster that man caused..usually its vice versa.. |
