The economic and ecological disaster continues to spread. Lastest info has at least half of the well's oil still gushing into the gulf (even with the cap). BP says adjustments will continue to be made. The Aug date for final completion of relief wells and stopping of the flow into the Gulf is the most optimistic scenario. Hurricane season may play an important role here. Oil stained wildlife now showing up at a much greater rate than before (over 100 stained pelicans brought in during the past three days).
