Excellent post, Bateaux, and right on target.  Thanks for the first-hand, accurate report!  

Totally agree with you about the clean-up crews, btw.  I took an hour round trip walk along the island today and all along the way saw them poring through the sand and seaweed at the high tide line, looking completely unable to find a thing.  

Granted, some tar balls and patties were beached near the Alabama line this afternoon, prompting a first health advisory, but that's not Pensacola Beach and I reiterate that there was NO widespread discoloration of sand ANYWHERE on our beach such as that one out-of-stater purportedly stated.

Let's save the dire pictures for if and when it's true.  So far, it ISN'T.
