Hi and Good Morning All-----------------
You know that one of the responses to the oil spill was to send troops to other platforms. When I read this I thought "wow ,this has got to be the dumbest knee jerk reaction I have ever seen" of course then I thought this was an just a terrible accident----but now I am beginning to wonder if there is a cover up going on.
Now I understand that folk have agendas in what gets reported and every one is watching the responses of BP and the Gov. to what is with out a doubt a terrible environmental disaster. Satellite pictures are all over the web and every university in the states is itching to get a science team in to the area and Youtube is being inundated with videos from how to fix the leak and clean up the spill to conspiracy theories and anti-every body involved propaganda.
That said Satellite coverage of the Gulf and close scrutiny of said picture data has uncovered a second leak from another platform located 12 miles east-southeast of the tip of the South Pass outlet channel of the Mississippi River. The platform (#23051) began leaking on April 25.
Now the National Guard has been deployed to help with the oil spill and I am wondering have any of you seen the Guard out and about and if you have are they in battle gear carrying guns?
For those of you that have a bit of knowledge about life on an oil rig --how hard would it be for someone to sabotage one before all this?
any thoughts |
