| CHC is flat out wrong as there were no sustained hurricane force winds reported Anungs list are for a few gusts to hurricane force, that does not justify a hurricane. NHC clearly stated it was not a hurricane at landfall in NS ,heck if having a gust to hurricane force meant you had a hurricane then I guess the outer banks got hit. Tim no one said it wasnt a real storm or any variance of it, if the difference between 70 & 75 mph means nothing than why bother with the designation? There would be a huge difference in landfall stats if every 70mph storm was upgraded to hurricane based on what someone wants vrs actual data. So yes according to you Tim as long as it feels good & wind blows through your hair who cares about accuracy.... |
