This is my list

1-Galveston
2-1928 Okeechobee
3-1938 Hurricane
4 Katrina
5-1926 Miami


As for overall(entire Atlantic basin)

1-1780 Hurricane
2-Mitch
3-Galveston
4-1932 Cuba Hurricane
5-Hurricane Fifi
also have to mention 1899 Puerto Rico hurricane,and Hurricane David
