no offense here, but you're coming across very antagonistic. I meant no harm by what I would deem an opinion. If that is all it takes to set you off, then I apologize for anything that I may said that was out of order.
The top 5 centered around "notable" hurricanes. The list wasn't fatality-centric. It was notable storms.
Frankly, the Sea Islands hurricane that struck Georgia and South Carolina would be more noteworthy, based on your argument, because its estimated death toll was at or near the Okeechobee toll. I don't see you fighting for that one on the list. How about Cheniere Caminanda. Also, very nearly as deadly as Okeechobee. Again, not argued for.
Sorry, again, if I touched some nerve or offended you or whatever I did, but I was just positing my idea on such a list. |
