| Also on the subject of 1928 dont think that cant happen again. There is a huge (bigger than 1928) poor minority population surrounding the southern part of the lake. The levees are questionable at best just like in N.O and I bet most wont leave out of ignorance or simply not being able to get out of dodge. The SFla water management district & army corp of engineeers keep lake levels low because they do not trust those levees,they are a sitting duck . |
