I think it's a good idea to wear something. Don't buy a mask that a healthcare worker would need, though you wouldn't be able to get one anyway. Whether it is in case you are sick, and don't know it, and could pass it to someone, or trying to protect yourself, it's not a bad idea.

Just be careful taking it off. Try not to touch your face with it on. Wash it before you use it again or leave it alone for awhile.

It's not as good as a medical mask, so you can't go about things as usual. (and even with those of course, medical workers are still getting sick) Still only go to where you absolutely need to go.
