I'm glad things worked out pretty well for you. Having power after the storm makes all the difference. I think for storms where wind is the main threat, my power is more likely to remain on due to underground lines. If it's surge of salt water, my power is likely going to fail as the power boxes, which each run lines to two houses, get submerged.
The west coast of Florida seemed to fare much better from the tornadoes. It must have been rather surprising on the other coast to have so many.
I hope power gets restored soon to all those without it. At least there is some cooler weather this week. Florida cool, but it's something.
