Thank you; I was getting worried!

The "problem" with hypotheses is that ANYTHING can be hypothesized.

As Richard Dawkins once noted, the hypothesis of a spaghetti monster hiding on the backside of the moon is just as plausible as the existence of God; neither can be disproved.

Another great "problem" for the human mind is determining "cause and effect." Way too many people make connections that don't actually exist.

I'm reminded of the group of church ladies sitting near me on a city bus here years ago. While a hurricane was heading in our general direction they got to discussing how successful their group prayers were in "re-directing" hurricane Hugo away from Wilmington, N.C.

I sat there in silence, wondering why their "God" would grant their personal wishes and send Hugo to savage the larger and more beautiful city of Charleston, S.C. But alas, religion is delusional thinking personified...and apparently quite selfish at times!

I cannot disprove chemtrails, solar connections to this that or the other...etc. but I do my best to always remain a rational thinker (and steer clear of conspiracies.) Accepted science is fascinating enough...and heck, there are thousands of scientists and students around the world working on who knows how many hypotheses.

My suspicion about many of these Youtubers is they are using their view of science to in some way replace religion. There always "has to be something extra" out there; something that only special people can be aware of and appreciate; and the Youtubers are the apostles. It's just religion in another set of clothes.

Cheers!
