It no doubt is going to be close a close call. The newest Euro really brings it close, as does the UKMET, and the HWRF does bring it inland. But I do stick by the NHC forecast and the Euro/UKMET that it's just going to miss offshore. The Euro has been insisting for almost 72 hours now that it's going to miss the state, and if the Euro, GFS and UKMET have all been in agreement now for two days of this sticking offshore, I'd say that's a good bet. The runs have been very consistent and they've been pretty spot on with their tracks since HP took control of this thing.

That being said, don't let your guard down. Keep an eye on it and definitely be prepared if you're on the Florida East Coast or the Carolinas coast. It does look like it's going to weaken pretty quickly once it feels the weakness and moves north. It scheduled to be a Cat. 2 by the time it gets into the South Carolina area, but that's still a dangerous storm for them.
